La promotion de l'allaitement maternel précoce, exclusif et continu est essentielle pour soutenir la santé, le développement et la survie optimaux des enfants au cours des 1 000 premiers jours (de la grossesse jusqu'au deuxième anniversaire de l'enfant).

Pour concevoir et mettre en œuvre des conseils plus adaptés et spécifiques à l'âge, nous avons compilé quelques ressources clés que les responsables de la mise en œuvre peuvent examiner et prendre en compte pour soutenir la promotion de l'allaitement maternel de qualité , y compris des outils de travail, du matériel éducatif pour les dispensateurs de soins et des ressources pour 'adapter, concevoir et mettre en œuvre les services de promotion de l’allaitement maternel.
