Une programmation de qualité visant à améliorer les pratiques d'alimentation complémentaire pour les enfants de 6 à 24 mois est essentielle pour répondre aux besoins d'un enfant au cours des 1 000 premiers jours. L'USAID et l'USAID Advancing Nutrition ont organisé cet ensemble ciblé de ressources pour informer et guider les partenaires de mise en œuvre de l'USAID dans la conception et la mise en œuvre d'une alimentation infantile adéquate et adaptée à l'âge, ainsi que de programmes de soins et d'apprentissage précoces adaptés au cours des deux premières années de la vie d'un enfant. Dans le cadre de cet effort, nous avons compilé quelques ressources clés que les responsables de mise en œuvre peuvent examiner et envisager d'améliorer, notamment les outils de travail, le matériel pédagogique pour les dispensateurs de soins et les ressources pour la conception, la mise en œuvre et le suivi des activités d'alimentation complémentaire.
