Nutrition Advocacy using PROFILES in Haiti

The Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (FANTA) Project led a multi-stakeholder collaborative process in Haiti that culminated in estimates of the number of lives that could be saved by preventing malnutrition, calculated using a tool for nutrition advocacy, PROFILES. Using this data, FANTA worked with stakeholders to develop a national nutrition advocacy plan to increase the visibility, commitment, resource allocation, and actions for nutrition in the health, agricultural, education, and social development sectors.
