The Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance Project (FANTA) Project led a multi-stakeholder collaborative process in Haiti that culminated in estimates of the number of lives that could be saved by preventing malnutrition, calculated using a tool for nutrition advocacy, PROFILES. Using this data, FANTA worked with stakeholders to develop a national nutrition advocacy plan to increase the visibility, commitment, resource allocation, and actions for nutrition in the health, agricultural, education, and social development sectors. To support the implementation of the plan, FANTA developed fact sheets focused on nutrition and health, nutrition and agriculture, and nutrition and education.
