Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Resource Review
The guideline focuses on the management of infants under six months of age at risk of poor growth and development as well as infants and children ages 6–59 months with wasting and/or nutritional edema. It includes post-exit interventions after recovery and prevention strategies.
Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Resource Review
Mothers and infants at risk of poor growth and development should be cared for as a unit and breastfeeding support is critical. Not all children with moderate wasting need specially formulated food and programmers should prioritize those who need this support based on certain risk factors. All children with moderate wasting need a health assessment to rule out medical problems and access to a nutrient-dense diet. Community health workers can support most children within the community setting if trained and given supervision and support.
USAID Nutrition Resource Hub
This library includes resources from the Strengthening Partnerships, Results, and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) project's work to help social and behavior change (SBC) practitioners design, implement, and monitor effective SBC interventions for nutrition. If you are a nutrition program manager, these resources can also help you to gain a deeper understanding of what applying SBC approaches looks like operationally. Each resource includes a brief explanation on its purpose and how it can be used, along with a file that can be downloaded and adapted.

Adjusting mid-upper arm circumference for age (MUACZ) improves identification of children suffering from severe acute malnutrition. However, using MUACZ can be more complicated than using weight-for-height Z-scores in the field, so it is important to identify easier ways to use this method. This is a pre-print of a manuscript.

Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Resource Review
This report reviews a project aimed at improving the nutritional status of crisis-affected populations in seven countries. The goal is to identify better ways for aid agencies to address the compounding impacts of long-term fragile governance and conflict and recurring shocks on resilience and food security. The report identifies entry points where interventions and programs may be better targeted or modified to meet humanitarian needs and support resilience.
