The Nurturing Care Framework’s logic model is the basis of monitoring progress. For each of the five strategic actions, the logic model specifies the outputs (such as updated standards and service packages) that will be tracked. Together these outputs should produce the five components of nurturing care, in the form of outcomes (such as increased exclusive breastfeeding coverage). These can also be tracked, as can the impact on children’s development (such as growth or development).
