Until now, little experience or evidence has existed on how to mainstream maternal nutrition at scale. WHO’s 216 antenatal care guidelines includes nutrition interventions that are proven to support a healthy pregnancy and birth experience. This brief outlines how to deliver nutrition interventions as key components of maternal, newborn, and child health programs, including a summary of the operational strategy used to achieve scale and impact in Bangladesh.
