The WASH 1,000 Photo-Aid depicts a series of behaviors centered on water, sanitation, and hygiene. The behaviors are targeted at households with pregnant and lactating women and/or children under 2 (1,000-day households), but the general population can also use them. The photo-aid portrays “appropriate” behaviors and is intended for use in stimulating discussions between environmental health officers and community members.
