These posters were delivered at the American Society for Nutrition's Nutrition 2023 conference. The first reviews a dietary assessment study conducted by the Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre among of pregnant and lactating women. The objective was to assess micronutrient intake and the prevalence of inadequate intake among non-pregnant, non-lactating women of reproductive age.
The second compares minimum dietary diversity estimates estimations from a list-based and a multiple-pass recall method against an in-home observation of dietary intake in children 6–23-months-old in Cambodia and Zambia. We also assessed the costs associated with implementing the two methods.
