Chief of Party, Kyrgyz Republic
Nazgul comes to us from Mercy Corps in Kyrgyzstan where she worked as a Head of Programs. In this role, she oversaw a complex program portfolio operating throughout the country, with projects in clinical nutrition, SBC, and school feeding. Prior to Mercy Corps, she was the Deputy Chief of Party for the SPRING/Kyrgyzstan project. Nazgul has also worked on Central Asia regional health reform projects managing implementation of programs in reproductive health, family planning, newborn, child and maternal health, and HIV. She provided technical leadership to the introduction and implementation of evidence-based practices and health services quality improvement approaches in Kyrgyz Republic. Nazgul also contributed to the development and implementation of national policies and guidelines to institutionalize the proven practices. She is a Medical Doctor and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
