This review article summarizes the published literature on adolescent nutrition in Cote d'Ivoire. Most research to date has focused on micronutrient deficiencies (anemia) and parasitic infections. The studies found high prevalence of undernutrition, as well as an emerging double burden of overweight and obesity. The review also highlights the relative paucity of research on adolescent nutrition in Cote d'Ivoire, as most studies focus on younger children.
