Breastfeeding is not just mom’s job. Improving breastfeeding requires the encouragement and support of skilled counselors, family members, health care providers, employers, policymakers, and others. Throughout its 40+ year history of supporting breastfeeding around the world, USAID has engaged communities to promote and protect breastfeeding through educational programming and skilled breastfeeding counseling.

USAID Advancing Nutrition’s interactive webpage on breastfeeding shares the Agency’s efforts to increase breastfeeding through images, data and links to additional resources.
