High-quality social and behavior change (SBC) design requires multiple steps, beginning with prioritizing behaviors. The Prioritizing Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Behaviors tool guides you through that process based on the overall goals and objectives of your program’s theory of change or results framework. After prioritizing behaviors, apply the Using Research to Design an SBC Strategy tool to identify the barriers and enablers that prevent or support the practice of nutrition behaviors so that you can prepare the SBC strategy. Then, use this tool to determine which priority behaviors and influencing factors to monitor as you prepare your monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) plan.
