Adolescence provides a “second window of opportunity” for improving nutritional status, but addressing the nutritional needs of adolescents presents unique challenges, given their varied household, school, work, marital, and parental circumstances. USAID Advancing Nutrition is pleased to launch a new online Adolescent Nutrition Resource Bank to help governments, donors, non-governmental organizations, and other adolescent nutrition stakeholders advocate for, design, implement, deliver, monitor, and evaluate effective adolescent nutrition activities, services, and programs. The Bank includes more than 150 practical resources, including policy documents, implementation research guidance, case studies, advocacy briefs, service delivery protocols, training guides, social and behavior change materials, monitoring and evaluation tools, and more.

The USAID Advancing Nutrition team conducted an extensive search for the resources included in the Bank, aiming to include useful resources to inspire action and address adolescent nutrition. To learn more about why prioritizing adolescent nutrition is important, which resources are included, and how selected resources might be useful for you, check out the virtual Adolescent Nutrition Resource Bank launch webinar.
